An AV maintenance contract (also called a service contract or SLA) sets how quickly Kooijman Connection responds to a fault, how often we carry out preventive maintenance and who is responsible for updates. You call one number; we fix it remotely or come on site within the agreed time.

What determines the price of AV maintenance?

    Package

Shorter response times and faster on-site help take more capacity.

  3. 03

Office hours or a 24/7 emergency line.

  4. 04

    Age and condition

Older or unknown equipment needs more attention, or an update first.

05Questions

Frequently asked questions about AV maintenance

01What does an AV maintenance contract cost?

It depends on the number of systems, the package, availability (office hours or 24/7) and the condition of the equipment. After an inventory you receive a proposal with a fixed annual price.

02How quickly do you respond to a fault?

That is set in your package: within 8 hours on Bronze, 4 hours on Silver, 2 hours on Gold and 1 hour on Platinum. An engineer is on site within 5 working days (Bronze) up to 24 hours, weekends included (Platinum).

03What is the difference between warranty and a maintenance contract?

Our installation work carries a 12-month warranty after handover; products carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty covers defects; a maintenance contract adds fixed response times, preventive maintenance, updates and, from Silver up, replacement equipment.

04Do you also manage systems installed by someone else?

Yes. We start with an inventory of what is there and its condition. Then we advise which package fits and what may need updating first.

05What is an SLA?

A service level agreement: the terms in your management contract on availability, response time, time until an engineer is on site, and maintenance. Kooijman Connection sets these per package.

Which package suits your rooms?

That depends on the number of systems and how critical they are. After an inventory you receive a proposal with an annual price.
